PSYCHOPATH LEADER LEGACY
Fights boost morale
Normally negative (red) personality traits are positive(green) under a 'Psycho' leader.
New "Execute" option available on the community screen along with 'promote' and 'exile" and is exclusive to the Psychopath leader.
Executed or fallen community members can be stored as food
(credit: DirtyDiaper44 on /r/stateofdecay ) Additional followers will volunteer to accompany your Psychopath leader when selected for missions. This is because, due to your reputation, human enclaves will randomly attack and attempt to assassinate you on scavenging runs, infestation/plague heart clearings and overall map exploration. So be careful when taking Your Psycho leader outside of the base.
NOTE: Other community members will volunteer to escort your Psycho leader on missions, you will have the option to 'accept' or 'decline'. Therefore, you can enlist one follower and accept the assistance of up to two volunteer followers.
Zed Arena (large slot): Host fights between community members and captured zeds from sieges. This boosts morale and fighting xp. Unlock unique ability to stealth kill ferals and juggernauts.
Holding Cell (indoor small slot): enables functions to force recruit captured human enemies via torture, ransom them for resources/items or interrogate them for intel on rare weapon/item stashes.
Zed Disguise (Workshop option): Make masks and cloaks out of zed skin to wear as disguises when scavenging or attacking human enclaves. Allows you to grow, blend in with and LEAD hordes. More effective and longer lasting than scent block with no blood plague infection.
Primitive Bone Weapons (Workshop option): Make new and exclusive bladed, blunt and close combat weapons from the bones of juggernauts and ferals you've killed. These weapons are extremely durable and effective with extraordinarily high trade value.
NOTE: the harvesting jug/feral bones mechanic works similar to how plague bloater glands are extracted in Heartland. However, this function is only available when a Psychopath is your community leader.
Seek and Capture (Command Center option): Allows you to send a hand-selected team of 2-3 community members on a mission to kidnap specified human allies or enemies.
The kidnap Mission comes with the risk of failure and one or all of the team being either killed...or captured which would then trigger a mission to go and rescue them by force or trade for their release.
However, If the kidnap mission is successful, the new prisoner will automatically be kept in the Holding Cell (see above).
TIP: Choose a team of community members with traits suitable for a stealthy mission that could become a firefight. Equipping them with Zed disguises might also be helpful.
TIP: The more kidnap missions you attempt, the more word spreads around the map about your community thus making future attempts riskier as enclaves will be more vigilant. So be very selective when making your initial kidnap attempt(s)..
Traitor Among Us - Somebody in your community is undermining your leadership and trying to build a mutiny against you. Investigate to find out who it is and deal with them and their supporters before you find yourself held prisoner and/or executed.
Note: Executing the mutineer will prompt their follower(s) to leave the community. Exiling the mutineer is an option also.
- Intel reaches you that the exiled mutineer or defectors have joined a rival enclave and arranged a secret roundtable meeting with leaders of other enemy enclaves. Its an opportunity for you to wipe out all enemy leaders in one place. Problem....it's actually an ambush designed to distract you from a bigger threat!
If you survive the ambush, you learn the enclaves are actually closing in on your base and you have a limited time to get back before your people are wiped out!!
Human Siege - Your reign of terror has gone far enough, prompting a human attack on your base comprised of several enclaves that have been united against you by the mutineer you exiled or their loyal followers who defected from your community . The attack will be in a wave format similar to Daybreak.
Reign of Terror
After you've squashed the mutiny and survived the massive human siege on your base, your unchallenged reign of terror begins and all enclaves must submit to your rule or suffer the consequences. As payment for you allowing these enclaves to live, they deliver two of every resource (Meds, Ammo, Materials, Food and Fuel) plus 50 parts to your base daily!
