Why can't we use a standard hammer? Like one from a hardware store. Can we have an expanded blacksmithing menu where a character can make medieval weapons. These include the mace that's in the game as well as other options like a billhook, warhammer, halberd (cutdown), pick, Dane axe, viking axe, bow, or just anything from the period up to the renaissance. An air gun? Probably a practical option for taking down zed. They exist in .177, .22, and .25. Low impact but effective. A long bow, composite bow, and compound bow. Like the crossbow but essentially faster or lighter. A tomahawk and Bowie knife. Medieval light, medium and heavy crossbow. Sounds foolish but expands into the medieval re enactment theme with expanded blacksmithing which gives a reason for a player to fabricate weapons and use a forge more often. A mode where we fight waves and waves of zed with random weapons in the game. Not just the red talon or Cleo ones. Reason to use the military style weapons, c4 and grenades. Most of these weapons are ineffective in nightmare due to their limited ammunition and inability to suppress them. Also many of them are not really believable and make little sense. Equitable/wearable item that takes up an item slot that protects you from zed, stops infection from a bite, and possibly allows for lowered damage from bullet strikes or scratches. This being body armor. Armored zed wear it. Why can't you take it at a cost to a storage slot, weight addition, and stamina penalty. Bandolier r molle tactical vest that increases thrown, consumable or ammunition stack. Takes up a storage space on a character but increases the stack per item. Items being thrown, consumed or is ammunition.
