Give the user a Supply Locker tab that includes a series of saved customized loadouts called "kits", allowing the user quick and repeatable access to personal inventory loadouts. This would remove the frustration and time spent on gearing up, reducing many "clicks" to few. This is a quality of life change that would lead to a better user experience.
For example: I want to kill some Plague Hearts and Infestations. I go to my Supply Locker and simply select "Assault Kit Bladed" (or whatever I choose to name it) and my current loadout (backpack and personal inventory) is swapped for my custom loadout. In this case my "Assault Kit" might include my favorite assault weapons like a Hordebreaker rifle, forged masterwork sword, extra rounds, whistling mines and also coffee and painkillers.
Maybe I have a "base defense kit" that has an AK-47, a good melee weapon and 10 rounds of ammo, for passive characters that are just staying at the base.
If at item in your custom kit loadout blueprint is not available in your Supply Locker you might get a notice in red font when trying to select that particular kit: "Heavy Weapon Kit unavailable - you have no remaining .50 cal ammo in the Supply Locker"
