Bring back SOD 1 characters

I wanna be able to play as Marcus, Maya, Ed, etc. From the first game. At the very least I wanna know they're alive or dead as far as the story goes. I'd even be pretty hype to see them as villians. Like somewhere down the line Marcus or Maya turned bad and broke off from the network and started a new group and you have to fight them. That would make for a new and amazing storyline.
