My idea is quite the massive addition towards unraveling the whole mystery of the operations behind many of the Plague Researchers and what their true goal is other than creating things out of plague samples such as Scentblock, Zedeye, and Zedrenaline. I'm interested in seeing a story that follows what the plague researches are doing behind the scenes and ultimately what they encounter to do so (This could be in the main game or a new expansion all together, Either would work). I feel the plague researchers could come up with more than just experimental consumable items. Some of the things I feel they would encounter is clues on what started the blood plague and possibly ways to prevent the spread of it by trying to find/create a cure for BP (Blood Plague). Perhaps to make this more exciting, you could encounter a whole new Freak type, one that would possibly make you think a third time before you go out at night. This idea would benefit the game as it adds more depth to the lore of the game and would give the player a lot more to do in the main game (As well as being fun!). In terms of what the player gets out of completing these missions would be an all new facility (or facilities) such as something similar to the Red Talon Workshop but it would be an infirmary prefab/blueprint. This infirmary would work as an instant lvl3 Infirmary but would have much more benefits such as much faster passive infection recovery, more efficient plague cure crafting. the ability to craft cases of chemicals, +1 Meds Perday, and for a new consumable; a first aid kit that once consumed would give brief immunity to blood plague. The healing affects would be the same as a normal first aid kit only this one cures BP and provides immunity for a quite some time.
I really do to see something like this work out in the game
