Mouse support for state of decay 2 on console

I would love to be able to play state of decay 2 on xbox one with a mouse and keyboard. I was so excited when I accidentally pushed a button on my keyboard and saw my character move I instantly plugged in my mouse and was super disappointed to find out the game had keyboard support but no mouse support. I'm making this post in hopes that mouse support will be added because since keyboard support is available why not add the mouse support so players on console can have the freedm to choose how they experience state of decay.
