While Daybreak has Red Talon on the defensive, Operation Homecoming would have the organization sweeping and clearing a small town filled with zombies with only limited resources and personnel available for the mission.
At the start of the mission, you select your loadout. You can take as much as you can carry (supply drops can be made available throughout) and proceed on foot to the nearby town that is overrun with zombies. The challenge isn't so much to clear the town, it's to clear it as quickly/efficiently as possible.
Using a system analogous to the Influence system from the original State of Decay, every item you bring in to the town (and can loot from the town) will have a value attached to it, and the fewer resources you use to clear the town, the better your final score. For example, someone who used a crossbow to clear the town and recovered all of their bolts would get a better score than someone to called in artillery on every single zombie. Your overall score is determined by resources used, how long clearing the town takes, damage taken, etc. The score determines how many Prestige Points you get at the end.
