I noted that in a recent stream Geoffrey played SoD2 and complained that he too did not like the way the game deals with a resource placed into storage once the storage is "full".
Instead of that number or resources going to waste (i.e. Losing 2 Fuel because you had 27 Fuel when your storage max is 25 Fuel), the resource could be broken down and placed into the storage locker, similar to breaking open a rucksack.
Now obviously there should still be a penalty for going 'over' your storage allotment, and having to 'break open' those resources, so maybe they could be placed into the storage locker at a reduced rate than normal?
Also there needs to be a CANCEL ACTION button when placing a rucksack into storage if the storage will become or is already full to the max. We get the prompt that we are going to go over our max storage, but there is no option to cancel that action and retain the rucksack.
