Current Concerns: October 30th, 2023

Happy Halloween folks, hope y'all are doing ok! It's the last Monday of the month so here's an update as promised. Last month was a bit rough for some of our users post update 34 and our introduction of Curveballs. Mostly a lot of crashing especially on the console side. With the release of 34.1 we saw that was mostly taken care of as well as a fix for our long term animation bug for sleeping characters. As of today this is what we currently have on our radar that's top priority:

• We're still hearing reports of some crashing whenever the Black Plague Heart is introduced. It's not happening to a ton of folks but any crashing we hear about is immediately focus #1
• Receiving some reports about missions not appearing after some time. We're asking for folks to respond to any follow up questions or be as detailed as possible when submitting a ticket to support in order to help our people reproduce the issue and create a fix.
• The day counter seems to be malfunctioning for users. Some folks are getting to Day 7 and the counter just stops, some folks are starting on Day 7 and getting introduced to the curveballs immediately and the counter stops. We're also seeing our long term players in double digit days seeing their counter no longer active. There's no discernible pattern but we have it in our sights for a fix.
• Getting reports of modders terrorizing a few folks in Daybreak. We highly recommend that you record any video of Daybreak when you run into a malicious player or a player being overly generous with high value items, weapons, etc. It will be easier for us to take action that way. We also recommend using the "report a player" function as well.

As a warning of sorts, no type of abuse or trolling will be tolerated when submitting a ticket. Please keep it nice and respectable!
